Our Inspiration

Plain & Supple was born at the intersection of three stories.

The first begins in my childhood in Brazil, where I spent hours in my own secret (and sacred) DIY spa, mixing brown sugar, oats, yogurt, honey, and olive oil into magic potions. It was more than play — it was my first connection to the power of natural ingredients and the joy of creating something with my hands.

The second began after the birth of my third child, when I had no time for a 12-step skincare routine but still wanted to care for myself in a meaningful way — simply and effectively.

The third came from a sudden and unexpected shift in the career I had trained for all my life. That loss led me to reflect deeply on what truly matters: doing what you love and being close to those you love.

These three threads came together in Plain & Supple — a brand that honors where I come from, supports those who want uncomplicated self-care, and allows me to live with purpose and presence.

Every time I formulate, I reconnect with my childhood wonder, respect the time constraints so many of us face, and celebrate a life rooted in joy, care, and intention.
